Biography
Claudia Trillo is Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Salford, UK. She holds a PhD on Urban Design (2001) and a specialization on Urban Planning and sustainable development (1997). She gained international research experience thanks to an over 20-years professional and academic activity undertook mainly (but not exclusively) in Italy (University Federico II, Naples), UK (University of Ulster, University of Salford) and US (San Diego State University and Northeastern University of Boston). Since 1994 she has been actively involved in national and European Research projects. She is currently Principal Investigator and Research Unit coordinator of a RISE- H2020 research project, MAPS- LED (2014-ongoing), Principal Investigator and coordinator of a UK funded project “Smart Greater Manchester City- Region IT living platformâ€, Co- Investigator of the AHRC granted project “IT Indian Heritage Platformâ€. She is author of over 100 publications in her field.
